While the fabric is a little heavier than the uniform you’re wearing now, it retains the same supple feel of the usual lightweight beginners uniform, just a slightly thicker fabric.

Poly/cotton or Canvas

Maybe you’re thinking of trying a canvas uniform? That is also a good choice. The main difference is that a canvas uniform can feel less flexible at first. After a few washes it becomes better, and continues improving. On the good side, they are made in 100% cotton canvas, so keep you cooler.

This heavy-duty 10oz poly cotton blend karate uniform is made to the same professional European cut and measurements as our 8oz uniforms, just in a heavier quality, more durable fabric. It feels good to wear with room to move easily through a full range of motion without dragging across the shoulders or thighs.
